Fire Marshall Henry Lopez "Suspended Indefinitely"
This totally SUCKS and will be a complete total waste of taxpayers dollars defending this action.
It reeks of "retaliation" of Mr. Lopez for speaking out about a topic he is more than qualified to opine about, "the level of Public Safety or lack thereof".
I wrote a Letter to the Editor of the SBNews for the next edition. However, I may have been too late for the next edition. Otherwise, it will be next week's edition.

Your implication is that you are knowledgeable about the truth!
Why don't you enlighten me and tell me what the truth is! Or do I have to wait until the truth comes out in the Civil Hearing or the discovery phase in the lawsuit!
You know darn well there will be a lawsuit and, as usual, the taxpayers get screwed with the legal bills.
The only one who deserves an apology is Chief George Gomez for the manner he was treated by the City Administration!
Incidentally, if you disagree with my editorial, why don't you "man up" and write a rebuttal (with the truth)to the SBNews for printing!
Henry violated a Cardinal Rule of Raspatown ... It's freedom of speech as long as you don't say too much !
