Agenda # 17: Resolution 2012-14 Approving an Order Declaring The Adoption of Amendments to the Charter of the City of San Benito Approved by the voters on May 12, 2012

After this Resolution is approved, Certification follows:

Section 9.05 Certification.

"As soon as practical after the City Commission adopts the Charter amendments, the Mayor shall certify to the City Secretary of the State of Texas an authenticated copy of the Charter amendments under the City's seal showing the approval by the voters of the City of San Benito."
